RACHEL DAVIS, LICENSED ACUPUNCTURIST
Rachel Davis is a licensed acupuncturist, specializing in fertility, women’s health and mind-body wellness. In 2007, she graduated from Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medicine in Asheville, North Carolina. She moved to Nashville in 2009 and started working at Green Hills Natural Health with previous owner, Steve Blumenthal. In 2016, Rachel acquired the practice and has continued its reputation for excellence.
As a self-identified “women’s health-nerd,” Rachel loves that her profession represents a lifetime of learning. She completed a three week study abroad program in China after graduating from acupuncture school. She studied and became certified in Mayan Abdominal Massage in 2008. In 2010, Rachel became a Fellow for the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (FABORM.) Currently, Rachel is pursuing a certification in 5 Element Functional Medicine, a unique blend of functional medicine and Chinese Medicine created by Houston acupuncturist, Chris Axelrad.
Rachel’s interest in acupuncture and holistic medicine started when she was a patient herself. While attending UNC-Chapel Hill, she sought treatment for stubborn allergies and recurrent sinus infections. It worked, and she was hooked. Not only had she “cured” her allergies, she found herself. She found what she was passionate about doing. She found not just a career but a purpose.
